Sponsor a child today, change a life forever!
Sponsor today in a few clicks! Or read on for more details.
Your contribution as a supporter varies depending on how much you can afford each month. To fully sponsor a child requires £24 a month (plus gift aid = £30 a month).
As a Bethesda sponsor you know you are meeting all a child's needs, every month. This amount covers their food, clothing, education and care staff costs. You'll receive a sponsor pack with information about the child, a photo and a letter twice a year written by the child.
|If you are not in a position to fully sponsor a child then you can choose to support a child's staff care, food or education costs each month. As well as knowing you're making a valuable regular contribution to a child's life you'll receive letters written by the children regularly.|
If you want to go ahead and support a child now then please use the links at the top of the page. If you'd prefer paper forms then let us know your contact details via the sponsorship sign-up form. We'll fill out the forms and send them for you to sign.
The organisation is a registered charity and the trustees are listed on the about us page. We have all spent time with the children and been amazed at the atmosphere of joy and love there. We've seen how the children are some of the happiest and confident we have met. We want to make sure the work continues with sustainable funding - that the children continue to have the food, education and other essentials they need.
Bethesda Children’s Foundation expenses are currently met by the directors so all of your money reaches the children's home. We do not expect this to change significantly in the future but if it does, we will, of course let you know.
All our children will have only one sponsor. The sponsor will not share their sponsor child with another. So, we select a child for you to avoid two or more sponsors selecting the same child.
At any one time it's possible that not all the children will have sponsors, especially when the scheme starts. Children who don't have sponsors might feel less important or special than those who do. Because of this the children themselves don't know whether they are being sponsored. If visiting the home we ask that sponsors don't treat the child they're sponsoring differently and don't identify themselves as the sponsor.
